Professional Angler Kurt Dove signs with El Grande Lures
LINTON, Ind. (May 7, 2010) -- Professional bass fisherman and guide Kurt
Dove has joined the El Grande Lures pro-staff to assist with promotion and
lure development.
Dove, of Del Rio, Texas., is a full-time guide on Amistad, Choke Canyon and
Falcon lakes in southwest Texas and tournament angler. He competed three
seasons on the Bassmaster Elite Series and currently competes on the PAA
Bass Pro Shops Tournament Series presented by Carrot Stix. Dove is a former
resident of Virginia.
"I have had my eye on Kurt for several months," said Jay Schurz, president
of El Grande Lures. "He has built a stellar career around his abilities as a
professional bass fisherman and full-time guide. I look forward to
personally working with Kurt in the design of our plastics."
Dove has used the El Grande Lures Gila Monster, Tube, Hatch-Match Stick and
Sapo topwater bait in a variety of techniques with great success. Lure
colors are designed to work on virtually any lake in the country for
largemouth, spotted and smallmouth bass.
"I am thrilled to get the opportunity to promote and extend the awareness of
the El Grande Lures brand," Dove said. "I know the baits work very well here
in south Texas and I look forward to using them with my guide clients as
well as on the tournament trails.
"The unique triple laminate color patterns are on the leading edge in the
soft plastics industry and gives any fisherman an extra edge over the
competition and the fish," he added. "I look forward to the opportunities of
adding my ideas into the design of new El Grande products as the company
continues to grow."
